Young Entrepreneur Nominated for Young Achiever Awards

LUKE Strochnetter is passionate about businesses in the region and thrives on being labelled an entrepreneur. 

His hard work and efforts have been recognised, being announced as a semi-finalist in two categories for the 7 News Queensland Young Achiever Awards.

The Young Achiever Awards is to acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of all young people throughout Queensland who are 30 years of age and under.

The two awards are for a finalist in the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Entrepreneurship Award category and The Hospitality and Customer Service Award category.

He also has a chance of winning the People’s Choice Award category.

“It’s an absolute honour to be a finalist in not one but two categories for the 7 News Queensland Young Achiever Awards,” said Luke. 

“It’s a great honour to be recognized alongside so many incredible young people doing amazing things in so many different ways across Queensland.”

Luke has had a busy 12 months that includes organising some significant events in Hervey Bay that included the Carols by Candlelight and the recent business event, The Equipping.

“It’s been a great journey over the five years I have been in business, and I am just so grateful for the amazing clients, colleagues, staff, friends and people in the community who always support me, encourage me and push me,” said Luke.

Another young rising local entrepreneur, Sara Diana Faraj has also been nominated as a finalist in a category whom Luke describes as “another trailblazing young person on the Fraser Coast.”

Both Luke and Sara are members of the committee for Fraser Coast Young Professionals, which is a network group for like-minded professionals and business people that meet at events.
