MARYBOROUGH is set to become the heart of classic rock nostalgia when the Odyssey Festival makes its Queensland debut at the Maryborough Showgrounds on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
After two successful years in Adelaide, the festival is blazing a new trail, bringing together Australia’s top tribute acts for a night of powerhouse performances celebrating some of the most legendary bands in rock history.
Festivalgoers can expect electrifying renditions of rock’s greatest hits, with a stellar lineup featuring Echoes of Pink Floyd, The Killer Queen Experience, The Eagles Show, Seventh Wonder performs Fleetwood Mac, and The Creedence Clearwater Revival Show.
The weekend’s festivities will begin on Friday, July 25, with Boogie Nights, an official pre-festival party celebrating the glitz and glamour of the 1970s.
Hosted on the main stage, the event will feature MC Breezer and DJ JSD, who will spin classic disco and glam-rock hits.
Attendees are encouraged to embrace the retro spirit by donning their best 70s-inspired outfits for a night of music, dancing, and nostalgia.
The festival’s main event on Saturday, July 26 will transform the Maryborough Showgrounds into a classic rock time capsule, with performances from some of Australia’s most acclaimed tribute acts.
Echoes of Pink Floyd, hailed as the nation’s premier Pink Floyd tribute, will take audiences on a mesmerising journey through six decades of the band’s groundbreaking music.
The Killer Queen Experience, fronted by the charismatic John Blunt, promises an electrifying performance, capturing the spirit of Freddie Mercury with anthems like Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You.
Fans of The Eagles can relive the timeless magic of the iconic band with The Eagles Show, featuring note-perfect renditions of classics such as Hotel California and Take It Easy.
Meanwhile, Seventh Wonder performs Fleetwood Mac, led by singer Bloom, delivers a captivating homage to Fleetwood Mac’s enduring legacy with hits like Rhiannon, Dreams, and Go Your Own Way.
The Creedence Clearwater Revival Show will bring a high-energy tribute to CCR, delivering foot-stomping favourites such as Proud Mary and Bad Moon Rising.
