Jon Stevens to headline Sounds of Rock festival

THE SOUNDS of Rock Festival is set to electrify Hervey Bay on September 6, with a stellar lineup headlined by Jon Stevens. 

Jon Stevens is an iconic Australian singer, songwriter, and performer with a career spanning over four decades. Best known for his work with rock band Noiseworks and his tenure as the lead singer of INXS, Stevens has made a significant mark on the Australian music scene. 

His rich vocal style and dynamic stage presence have earned him a loyal following both at home and internationally.

Throughout his career, Stevens has achieved multiple chart-topping hits, including ‘Take Me Back’ and ‘No Lies’ with Noiseworks, as well as acclaimed solo material. 

His remarkable longevity and continuous relevance in the music industry showcase his unwavering talent and dedication to his craft.

Supporting Stevens is an iconic lineup of Australian Artists.

The Angels, formed in the late 1970s, have been a cornerstone of Australian rock, known for their high-energy performances and timeless.

Baby Animals will be fronted by Suze DeMarchi, with the band bursting onto the scene in the early 1990s with their self-titled debut album, featuring tracks like ‘Early Warning’. 

With a career spanning over four decades, Dragon has produced numerous smash hits, including ‘April Sun in Cuba’, blending rock with pop sensibilities.

Known for their catchy melodies and energetic performances, Taxi Ride gained popularity in the late 1990s.

The Eurogliders achieved success in the 1980s with hits like ‘Heaven (Must Be There) and Pseudo Echo: Renowned for their 1980s hits like 'Funky Town" will bring a unique blend of rock and electronic music to Hervey Bay.
