HERVEY Bay Doctors has opened a new practice at the Spotlight Centre – 200 Boat Harbour Drive (corner of Taylor Street) Pialba.

The new facility is a significant milestone in its commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to the Fraser Coast community.

After over 40 years on the Esplanade, previously known as Torquay Doctors, the state-of-the-art facility will continue to offer the same care the practice is known for and continue to honour the relationships they have with existing patients.

Mayor George Seymour was on hand to cut the opening ribbon for the opening and congratulated everyone concerned in providing the outstanding care for patients that the region demands.

It’s a recurring story of residents wanting to book a Doctor’s appointment and being told “no more new patients.” 

The growing region is in desperate need for more services with an increasing population and the practice appreciates the need to evolve with the region. Hervey Bay Doctors are excited to welcome their existing patients and have open books for those needing a new GP combining their existing approach and values with a new medical facility.

Dr Chris Woollard, the brainchild behind the new facility along with Dr Nick Yim, President of the Australian Medical Association, says their commitment to the community goes beyond the new facility.
