FRASER Coast Mates is kicking off 2025 with a fun and exciting event aimed at fostering community spirit and connection.
The Fraser Coast Mates Business Tennis Challenge will take place on Friday, March 14, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hervey Bay & District Tennis Association Courts, Colyton Street, Torquay.
As the Australian Open draw’s attention to the sport, Fraser Coast Mates invites participants of all skill levels to join in on the action.
This event is all about fun, with teams encouraged to dress in creative costumes.
From Wicked-themed outfits and superheroes to retro tennis stars, the more unique and imaginative, the better!
Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed teams, so get ready to show off your creativity.
“2025 is all about encouraging our community to come together, share their stories, and offer support to one another,” said a spokesperson for Fraser Coast Mates.
“No one should feel isolated, and this event is a perfect way to kick off a year of connection.
We want to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re here for tennis or just enjoying the community spirit.”
The night will feature music from DJ Mak, a sausage sizzle, and plenty of opportunities to connect with local businesses and community members.
The event promises to be an enjoyable and lively evening, with everyone rallying for a great cause and showing their support for the Fraser Coast community.
