I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the incredible talent we have right here in Hervey Bay. From our thriving community theatre scene to our talented musicians, artists, and performers, it’s truly inspiring to witness such passion and creativity flourishing in our local community.

Having recently attended productions at Z-PAC Theatre, I was blown away by the professionalism and dedication of everyone involved, both onstage and behind the scenes, especially considering they’re all volunteers! The ability of local actors, directors, and crew members to deliver world-class entertainment is a testament to the depth of talent we have in our region.

It’s not just the theatre, either. Whether it’s live music at our local venues, stunning artwork showcased at local galleries, or community events where creativity shines, Hervey Bay continues to amaze me with its wealth of artistic contributions.

I feel incredibly lucky to live in a community that supports and celebrates the arts. Our local talent deserves to be acknowledged and appreciated for their hard work and for the joy they bring to so many people.

Dear Editor,

I just wanted to express how much I love the calm, safe beaches of Hervey Bay. There’s something truly special about the gentle waves and the tranquil waters, making it the perfect spot for families, swimmers, and anyone who simply wants to relax by the sea.

Whether it’s a quiet morning walk along the Esplanade, discovering creatures when the tide is out or watching kids splash around without worry, our beaches are a treasure. They’re one of the many reasons I moved her and I’m proud to call Hervey Bay home.
