7-Day Reset: Mind and Body Ready for Summer

As we head into summer, it’s the perfect time for a 7-day reset to shake off bad habits and feel more energised. This isn’t a quick-fix diet or cleanse, but a focused, manageable way to reset both mind and body—together. No gimmicks. Just a commitment to seven days of small, intentional changes. Let’s do this.

1. No Alcohol

For the next week, skip the wine, beer, and cocktails. It’s a short-term break, and you'll notice improvements in sleep, energy, and mood. Plus, cutting out alcohol gives your liver a breather and helps with mental clarity.

2. Phone-Free Time

We’re all guilty of spending too much time glued to our screens. This week, schedule at least one hour of phone-free time each day. Use it to read, reflect, or just be. The mental reset is just as important as the physical one.

3. Daily Movement

Commit to at least 30 minutes of intentional movement every day. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a run, lifting weights, Pilates, or swimming, the key is consistency. Don’t overthink it—just move, every day.

4. Sleep Matters

Prioritise 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Sleep isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity for both body and mind to function at their best. Make your room a calm, phone-free space to help you wind down.

5. Hydration is Key

Ladies, aim for 2.1 litres of water a day. Men shoot for at least 2.4 litres. Keep a water bottle with you at all times—it’s a simple step with massive benefits for skin, digestion, and energy levels.

6. Real Food Only

For this week, skip the takeaways. Focus on whole, real foods. Your body will thank you, and you’ll feel more energised without the extra salt, sugar, and processed ingredients.
